Rebroadcast to Kick

Step 1: Set up your input

Firstly you need to set up your input source.

Step 2: Go to Kick.com

To add Kick as an output, you'll need to get some details from Kick first.

Open your stream dashboard and you will need to copy the stream key from the field labelled Stream

Step 3: Go to Aircast and add the output.

Back over on Aircast, click Add Stream Output, and then select Kick.

In the box that appears, paste your stream key into the field labelled Stream Key.

Step 4: Start rebroadcasting

💡 You must go live on your input platform before starting your outputs.

Assuming you're live on your input, you should now be ready to start rebroadcasting. Simply click the little play icon or enable auto start on both the input and outputs.

Step 5: Go live

The last step now is to just go live on your input!

Kick does seem to implement bitrate limits depending on different users stream keys / account on Kick.com.

We have noticed that the below is required for Console based streaming as it’s hard coded into the console.

However we advise people to test multiple bitrates when using OBS/Other Software as every user is different on Kick. Some people can stream at 8000kbps others can only stream at 3500kbps.

This is not a limitation of Aircast as we send whatever we are given, so if you are experience issues with Kick please contact their tech support email asking for information why.
